Progress in Study on Toughening Modification of Epoxy Resin
The development of the latest toughening modification on epoxy resin at home and abroad is summarized. Mechanism and progress in study on epoxy resin toughened by flexible curing agent, core shell polymer(CSP). thermotropic liquid crystal polymer (TLCP), interpenetrating polymer network (IPN) and nano-particles are introduced. Besides, the existing problems of toughening on epoxy resin are discussed. Finally, the development and prospect of modification of epoxy resin are presented.
