Study of Mechanical Properties of Ramie Fiber Reinforced Polypropylene Compounds for Automobile Industry
The ramie fiber of different length, different content and different dispose methods to reinforce polypropylene were used, and the tensile stress-strain curve, the flexural stress-deflection curve, the compressive stress-deflection curve, the elongation rate and the photos of the rupture interface were analysed, and the mechanical properties(tensile, flexural, compression and impulsion) were studied, and the best manufacture technics of the composites were found.
