Experimental Analysis on Mechanical Properties of Concrete with Lithium Slag under ASR-FTC
Research is conducted on the mechanical properties of concrete mixed with lithium slag under the coupling effect of alkali-silica acid reaction (ASR) and freeze-thaw cycle (FTC),including its flexural strength and compressive strength.Alkali-silica acid reaction and freeze-thaw cycles will reduce the compressive and flexural strength of concrete. The alkali-silica acid reaction after adding a certain amount of lithium slag will slightly increase the flexural strength of concrete. The more the number of freeze-thaw cycles, the more the compressive and flexural strength decreases, and the two reactions promote each other. The early alkali-silica reaction will aggravate the influence of the later freeze-thaw damage, and the first freeze-thaw damage will also aggravate the influence of the later alkali-silica reaction. The test results show that the incorporation of lithium slag can effectively improve the mechanical properties of concrete, with lithium slag content of 20% best.
