How Does Authoritarian Leadership Affect Employees'Work Engagement?A Moderated Mediation Model
Based on the conservation of resources theory,this paper discusses the internal mechanism between authoritarian leadership and their employees'work engagement.Through the questionnaire collec-tion and data analysis of 418 employees,the results show that authoritarian leadership has a significant nega-tive impact on work engagement,and employees'psychological capital mediates the relationship between authoritarian leadership and work engagement;self-leadership inversely moderates the relationship between authoritarian leadership and psychological capital,and indirectly affects work engagement through psycho-logical capital.
