On the basis of clarifying the internal mechanism of the impact of domestic demand scale and structure on exported products quality of enterprises,this paper empirically tests the effect of domestic demand scale and structure on the improvement of exported products quality of enterprises using the export data of Chinese industrial enterprises and customs from 2011 to 2015.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)The huge scale of domestic demand and the increasingly upgraded structure of domestic demand are conducive to promoting enterprises to improve the quality of export products,and this improvement effect is particularly prominent in the samples of private enterprises,foreign-invested enterprises,general trade en-terprises,enterprises that export and sell domestically,and enterprises that export to high-income countries or regions;(2)Upgrading the domestic demand structure can enhance the effect of domestic demand scale on improving the quality of exported products for enterprises;(3)The scale of domestic demand improves the quality of enterprise export products through technological innovation,and the agglomeration of ad-vanced factors,while the structure of domestic demand improves the quality of enterprise export products through technological innovation;(4)A higher level of domestic marketization is conducive to unleashing the market competition effect of domestic demand scale and structure,while a higher degree of domestic market integration is conducive to utilizing the advanced factors agglomeration effect of domestic demand structure,thereby promoting enterprises to improve the quality of export products.
