Fiscal pressure,transfer payment and high-quality economic development
This paper systematically explains the multiple mechanisms between fiscal pressure,transfer payment and high-quality development of local economy from the theoretical perspective,and empirically investigate the impact of fiscal pressure and transfer payment on the quality of local economic growth by constructing a dynamic panel simultaneous equation model and using the three-stage least squares method.The results show that although the impact of fiscal pressure on the quality of local economic growth is signif-icantly negative,there is a significant positive correlation between the structure of transfer payment and the quality of local economic growth.Among them,the increase in the proportion of general transfer payments in transfer payments can promote the significant improvement of the quality of local economic growth through direct and indirect channels.
