This paper discusses about the application and trend of development of the technology of Internet of Things in power distribution equipment,which provides reference for its research and practice in power distribution equip-ment.First,this paper introduces the current situation of its application in power distribution equipment and points out related problems and challenges.Then,it analyzes its trend of development in power distribution equipment.Fi-nally,it puts forward relevant suggestions on its promotion in power distribution equipment.
