In order to study the missionary activities of missionaries of the Society of Jesus after their entry into Chi-na,starting from their study on Chinese ancient history,this paper firstly probes into their purpose and motivation,then sorts out their research achievements,and finally discusses about the humanistic color of their study under the background of the Enlightenment.
