Entering a new era,promoting ecological protection and high-quality development in the Yellow River Basin is of great significance for building an important ecological safety barrier,promoting high-quality economic development,and promoting common prosperity in the Yellow River Basin.At present,the ecological protection and high-quality development of the Yellow River Basin are facing challenges such as a significant gap in economic development,incomplete ecological legal systems,control barriers between regions,and inadequate ecological compensation mechanisms and fiscal and tax incentive policies.Therefore,we should accelerate the green transformation of industries and optimize the top-level design of ecological protection and high-quality development in the Yellow River Basin;by improving ecological laws and regulations,we provide legal guarantees for ec-ological protection and high-quality development in the Yellow River Basin;by strengthening cross regional ecological manage-ment and mutual assistance cooperation,we will break through the control barriers between different regions in the Yellow River Basin,improve the water compensation mechanism and financial and tax incentive mechanism to promote ecological protection and high-quality development in the Yellow River Basin.
