Abstract
The functions of multi-dimensional English teaching model based on the ＂Distance Rural EducationProject＂ are as follows： offering a comprehensive, multi-dimensional English learning environment; creating a democratic, interactive multi-dimen-sional English classroom; building a rich, multi-dimensional, extra-curricular foreign language learning platform. Teachers are the key role in the implementation of this model.
