The Nanbu County Archives of Qing Dynasty are of high research value,but there are many colloquial words in them,which make it difficult for readers to understand,such as"Buting(部亭)""Dizhan(底站)""Liangming(粮名)""Qiandai(倩带)""Qingmao(清茅)""Wopiao(卧票)""Weigen Lianpiao(尾根连票)".Based on handed down documents and combined with context,the interpretations are obtained."Buting"is a post station of the Nanbu County,used for delivering official documents or as a place for travelers to rest."Dizhan"is the end-point of transmitting military intelligence and official documents,the post stage at the endpoint,which set up at or near the city gate."Liangming"is the name registered when paying land tax."Qiandai"means bringing something by the way."Qingmao"means"Qingce(清册)",a booklet registered all relevant information."Wopiao"means hiding summons privately."Weigen Lianpiao"means"huopiao(火票)"stubs with consecutive numbers,a vouch-er for transmitting official documents.
