By demonstrating the multiple perspectives of different scholars on digital technology, this paper analyzed the relationship between the media attribute of digital technology and the new form of architecture, discussing the development direction of digital technology in the context of contemporary architecture and historical projects. Additionally, three strategies were proposed to cope with the impact of digital technology on the discipline of architecture: to balance technical means and formal aesthetics, to balance operative criticism and historical distance, and to coordinate the co-existence of multiple media.
