Directional Blasting Demolition of Full Shear Wall Structured High-rise Building with Equal Length-width Ratio
In Kunming there are two full shear wall structured high-rise buildings with approximately equal length-width ratio in a plot to be demolished through directional blasting. Firstly, a large-angle incision was made through the long-arm gun machine, and the elevator shaft structure and the shear wall in the peripheral part were broken within the incision range. The manual air pick was used to pre-process the staircase section within the incision range. Secondly, through reasonable blasting parameter design and excellent network delay design, the residual shear wall in the notch range was blasted with the borehole-blasting method. Lastly, with the flying stones protection measures through the combination of direct coverage protection and near-body, and vibration reduction measures like cutting off the basement roof, the blasting hazard effect was strictly controlled, and the building demolition blasting was safely and smoothly implemented, which can provide reference for similar projects.
