Research on the Optimization of Public Spaces in the Historical and Cultural District of Fumin South Road,Lianzhou Ancient City Based on PSPL Survey Method
Affected by factors such as policies and funding,historical and cultural districts in small towns find it challenging to sustain vitality through traditional commercial replacement,remaining a weak link in the realms of preservation and renovation.This study takes the historical and cultural district of Fumin South Road in Lianzhou Ancient City,Hepu County,Guangxi,as a case.Employing the method of Public Space-Public Life(PSPL)survey,it conducts research on the activities and behavioral characteristics within the public spaces of historical and cultural districts.Through on-site surveys,fixed-point image collection,and behavior notation methods,this research aims to provide reference for optimizing public space strategies in similar historical and cultural districts of small towns.
