Analysis of the Research System on the Urban Characteristic Landscape of Guangzhou under the Concept of People-oriented City
"Cities are built by the people and for the people",the development concept of"people-oriented"is gradually advancing from urban design to urban landscape research,emphasizing the importance of people in urban living environments.This paper,starting from theoretical research,combines theories such as the theory of the People's City,Maslow's hierarchy of needs,Smith's livable city hierarchy theory,Kevin Lynch's urban form value standards,and the architectural principles of Academician He Jingtang's"two views and three natures".It integrates practical research on the urban landscape of Guangzhou with new trends in the city's development,establishing new connections between human needs and the coexistence of historical and cultural characteristics of Guangzhou.Through this,a new system is formed,constructing a new research framework for the characteristic urban landscape of Guangzhou centered around the people,which can serve as a reference for similar projects.
