Analysis on the Public Space Status Quo and Optimization Strategies of Rural Public Toilets under Tourism Intervention
As a fundamental service facility,rural public toilets play a vital role in the outward development and environmental enhancement of rural areas.With the rapid development of rural tourism,the increasing influx of visitors to rural areas has highlighted the inadequacy of public toilets,which lack sufficient public space to meet the growing demands for cultural and tourism services.This deficiency constrains the improvement of service quality and user experience in public toilets.Moreover,the reality of single-purpose,purely functional public toilets contradicts the gradually diversified living environments in rural areas.This article conducts on-site investigations to analyze the current issues in the construction of public spaces in rural public toilets under the influence of tourism,and explores the role of shaping the public toilet space.Finally,it summarizes methods and strategies to optimize the public spaces of rural public toilets,aiming to provide guidance for the improvement of construction and usability quality of rural public toilets.
