Analysis of the Construction Process of Regional Urban Defense Systems in Ancient China:A Case Study of Fortresses in the Late Southern Song Dynasty in the Bashu Region
This paper examines the urban defense systems in ancient China from the perspective of the formation process of urban systems.Focusing on the fortresses,part of the urban defense system in the mountainous Bashu region during the late Southern Song Dynasty,the study reviews the development process of the urban defense system.It summarizes the historical environment and fundamental characteristics of these urban defense systems,showcasing the hierarchical and interactive mechanisms of military defense spaces in the city from a regional perspective.Finally,the paper evaluates the value and significance of the regional urban defense systems.
