Evaluation and Analysis of Dongda Mosque in Kaifeng
Dongda Mosque is the largest existing Islamic architectural complex in Kaifeng and and even in Henan Province.It is notable for its complete layout,unique style,grand scale,and comprehensive facilities.The mosque retains strong Islamic ethnic characteristics while incorporating features of traditional Chinese architecture,making it a prime example of the fusion between Islamic and Chinese architectural cultures.This mosque holds significant cultural heritage value and serves as a valuable physical resource for studying Islamic architecture and history.This paper reviews the historical development of Dongda Mosque,conducts on-site measurements,and analyzes its architectural form,structural characteristics,and traditional craftsmanship through data analysis.The study evaluates the mosque's value from historical,scientific,artistic,and social educational perspectives.
