Discussion on the Protection and Utilization of Third Front Construction Industrial Heritage under the Context of Cultural Tourism:A Case Study of the 503 Power Plant
During the Third Front Construction period,the construction of factories in mountainous areas generally followed the principles of"proximity to mountains,dispersion,and concealment."While these principles were beneficial at the time,they now pose challenges for the development and transformation of industrial heritage.This paper analyzes the current status of the protection and utilization of industrial heritage from the Third Front Construction period,using the 503 Power Plant as a case study.It evaluates the industrial heritage value of the power plant and proposes protection and utilization strategies based on practical considerations,providing a reference for similar projects.
