Route Selection and Design Analysis of the Expressway Connecting Chongqing Liangjiang New Area to Changshou District
The construction of medium-and long-distance urban expressways linking downtown areas with surrounding districts and counties has emerged as a prevalent trend in the current urban integration development.Taking the expressway connecting Chongqing Liangjiang New Area to Changshou District as a case study, this paper introduces the primary controlling factors involved in the route selection process of the project. It focuses on analyzing the key routing schemes for critical nodes, including the connection of the route's starting and ending points, the site selection for Yulin River Bridge, and the location selection for the tunnel traversing Mingyue Mountain. The conclusion drawn is that the most reasonable route is one that starts from the Sixth Longitudinal Line, traverses the southern route of Mingyue Mountain Tunnel, and terminates at Puti North Road. This study aims to provide valuable references and insights for the construction of similar projects in the future.
