Study on Parameters Influencing the Structural Response Laws of Cantilever Pile Wall in Deep Excavation
This paper takes a civil deep excavation project in Wuzhou City as the background and utilizes PLAXIS software to analyze the influence of embedded depth and rock shoulder width on the deformation behavior of cantilever pile walls. The results show that as the embedded depth increases, the horizontal displacement of the retaining piles, the bending moment of the pile body, and the surface settlement outside the excavation pit gradually decrease, with the rate of change gradually diminishing.Similarly,as the rock shoulder width increases, the horizontal displacement of the retaining piles, the bending moment of the pile body, and the surface settlement outside the excavation pit also gradually decrease, and the rate of change decreases gradually.Notably, the locations of the maximum horizontal displacement and bending moment of the piles gradually shift towards the surface, while the location of the maximum surface settlement outside the excavation pit gradually moves away from the pit edge.It is recommended that sufficient embedded depth and rock shoulder width should be reserved during the construction of deep excavations utilizing cantilever pile walls. This study provides valuable reference for similar engineering projects.
