Research on Optimization Strategies for the Geographic and Cultural Space of Geleshan and Ciqikou Scenic Areas in Chongqing
The historic and cultural street area of Ciqikou Ancient Town and the Hongyan Culture Scenic Area in Geleshan,Chongqing,share the same natural landscape and cultural essence. However,due to various reasons,these two scenic areas have not achieved coordinated development,resulting in a fragmented cultural image. This paper adopts a geographic and cultural perspective,constructs a technical framework for analyzing the spatial characteristics of geographic and cultural spaces in scenic areas within mountainous cities,and investigates the spatial characteristics of the geographic and cultural spaces in Geleshan and Ciqikou scenic areas as well as the issues arising from their development and utilization. It also explores the overall geographic layout and cultural context of the scenic areas. By employing spatial organization methods such as connecting the landscape,linking the transportation system,densifying the element network,and designing distinctive green landscapes,this paper studies spatial optimization strategies that highlight natural geographic features and strengthen cultural connections. It provides new insights for the harmonious development of nature and humanity in Geleshan and Ciqikou scenic areas.
