Exploration and Reflection on the Horizontal Value and Cultivation Mode of Computational Thinking in the Civil Engineering Discipline
This paper explores the horizontal value and integrated cultivation mode of computational thinking in the field of "Civil En-gineering". It introduces the general characteristics of computational thinking and how to transfer and integrate it into the professional education of "Civil Engineering". The computational thinking acquired through programming can empower professional software development,facilitate scientific discoveries and technological inno-vations,provide insights into the "black box" of professional soft-ware,and promote software learning and application. Alternatively,it can empower professional studies through unplugged methods and facilitate system construction. By harnessing the power of computa-tional thinking,we can better understand the development logic of the digital era and adapt to and promote paradigm shift in the develop-ment of the "Civil Engineering" profession.
