Analysis of Water Hazards in Underground Structures:A Case Study of a Public Rental Housing Community in Chongqing
In recent years, the increasing demand for the development and utilization of underground space has led to deeper burial depths of underground structures. The impact of groundwater on underground structures has become more pronounced, and the issue of water haz-ards in underground structures has become increasingly prominent. Taking a public rental housing project in Chongqing as an example, this paper investigates the characteristics of groundwater recharge, runoff, and discharge in the hydrogeological unit where the project is located,as well as the groundwater burial, dynamics, aquifer prop-erties,permeability,and water inflow. It analyzes the causes of water accumulation and water inflow in the garage and, based on existing architectural design data, proposes reasonable and feasible measures for prevention and control of water hazards. The research results pro-vide guidance for site selection and engineering construction consid-erations for similar construction projects in the surrounding area.
