Research on Enhancing the Durability and Economy of Roof Waterproofing from a Design Perspective:A Case Study of Maintenance Practices at Sichuan International Studies University in Recent Years
The effectiveness of roof waterproofing in building construction directly impacts the acceptance and usage of the project. From a whole-life cycle perspective,it also affects its durability and economy. Taking the maintenance practices of Sichuan International Studies University in recent years as an example,this paper elaborates on the technical and management measures to enhance the durability and economy of roof waterproofing from a design perspective. In the design of roof waterproofing for building construction,a comprehensive and systematic way of thinking is adopted,considering the whole-life cycle of the building. Following the concept of value engineering and based on regional characteristics,targeted optimization and detailed design are carried out for aspects such as roof modeling,structural layers,waterproof materials,and node structures,with the aim of improving the durability and economy of roof waterproofing.
