Research on Teaching Modules and Practice of Landscape Art Courses under the Concept of OBE(Outcome Based Education)
In response to the suboptimal teaching outcomes in landscape art courses at higher vocational colleges, this paper takes the learning situations of four classes from the 2021,2022,and 2023 cohorts of the Landscape Engineering Technology major at Fuyang Vocational and Technical College as the research subject.Based on the Outcome Based Education(OBE)teaching philosophy and the impact of landscape art courses on subsequent courses, practice, and professional competencies of higher vocational students majoring in landscape architecture, this paper investigates the classroom teaching and practice of landscape art courses. The teaching methodology is altered to adopt a student-centered approach, with reverse design and forward implementation, emphasizing the effectiveness of vocational skills learning.Through refining and integrating teaching content, knowledge modules and knowledge matrices are reconstructed, fostering a learning mindset focused on application among students.Consequently, within limited teaching hours, students'aesthetic abilities, modeling skills, and expressive techniques are enhanced, laying a solid foundation for their professional design capabilities.
