Exploration and Practice of the"One-core Three-stage"Teaching System for Architecture Majors in Application-oriented Private Universities
Facing the challenges of the transformation towards the cultivation of application-oriented talents and the decline of the construction industry, this paper, taking Shenyang Urban Construction University as an example, analyzes three issues in the cultivation system based on the future needs of the industry and the competency requirements of graduates:a bulky curriculum system, inadequate representation of professional foundational literacy, and the need for further refinement of design practice topics. It proposes a"One-core Three-stage"construction mode for architecture majors and offers suggestions for the construction of various professional course clusters. The aim is to consolidate the professional foundations of students in the three majors, improve the pertinence of teaching in each major, and enhance students'practical abilities.
