Research on Urban Community Elderly Care Service Supply Space and Functional Facilities Based on Embodied Needs
With the intensification of population aging and the urban population aggregation effect brought about by urbanization,urban community elderly care services have become a focal issue of societal concern.Based on the theories of embodied cognition and embodied needs,this study conducts a comprehensive analysis of the embodied needs of the elderly in urban communities.It explores the adaptability of urban community elderly care service supply spaces to the embodied needs of the elderly and proposes six principles that should guide the spatial planning and design of elderly care services.Furthermore,it provides general recommendations for the rational design and configuration of corresponding functional facilities.
