Challenges and Reflections on the Development of Security Resilience in Megacities
As a megacity in China,Chongqing faces complex terrain,unique climatic conditions,and frequent natural disasters,posing higher requirements for the development of urban security resilience.This paper discusses the theoretical research foundation,evaluation indicators and systems,as well as several challenges and related reflections concerning the development of urban security resilience.It explores the principled requirements for evaluating urban security resilience and the compositional methods of evaluation systems.Aiming at constructing a comprehensive urban risk management platform capable of"monitoring,early warning,and rapid response",specific construction contents and technical index requirements are proposed.Meanwhile,in response to the current issues of data silos and inadequate urban security awareness,relevant disposal suggestions and measures are offered.The research conclusions can provide reference and insights for advancing the safe development of Chinese cities and enhancing the modernization level of urban security governance systems and capabilities.
