Research on Maturity Evaluation of Safety Management Capability in Large-Scale River-Crossing and Water-Involved Construction Projects
To accurately assess the safety management level of general contractors in large-scale cross-river and water-related construction projects,this study adopts a maturity model and a quantitative evaluation method based on Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process(F-AHP).By referring to advanced practices in safety management of major construction projects both domestically and internationally,the key elements of safety management for such projects are identified.An evaluation system comprising seven first-level indicators and 30 second-level indicators is established.Taking a specific case of an extra-large suspension bridge across a river in Chongqing,this study delves into the maturity of safety management capabilities of the general contractor for this large-scale construction project.The research reveals that the current safety management level falls within the"management level"consistent with the actual situation on site,demonstrating its feasibility.The formation of this safety management maturity evaluation system and the application of the evaluation method provide valuable insights for the staged evaluation of safety management status in similar extra-large suspension bridges across rivers or other significant cross-river and water-related projects.
