Study on Smoke Control Strategies for Urban Underground Branched Tunnels
Taking an urban underground highway tunnel project as an example, this paper selects a region with a main-branch-ramp tunnel configuration.Through numerical simulation, the study investigates the critical wind speed required to control smoke backflow during a fire occurring at the main road intersection of urban underground road divergence and convergence, when longitudinal ventilation is implemented.Based on this analysis,a more suitable ventilation and smoke control strategy tailored to the fire scenario in main-branch-ramp tunnels is determined, providing a reference for the ventilation design of such tunnel systems.
