Interdisciplinary education,as a crucial means of cultivating talent and advancing societal progress,is leading a new wave of educational reform.The historical evolution of interdisciplinary education can be di-vided into three stages:early exploration,imitation and adaptation,and innovative development.However,in practice,it often lacks a guiding cultural foundation.By grounding interdisciplinary education in Chinese cul-ture,it becomes possible to harmonize the relationships between individuals,education,and society,thereby achieving the dual goals of fostering moral values and infusing humanistic attributes into education.To develop localized interdisciplinary education from a cultural perspective,it is essential to maintain the core mission of nurturing talent for the Party and the nation.This involves establishing a pathway for interdisciplinary educa-tion that infuses humanistic attributes,while also clarifying the ultimate goal of shaping individuals through ed-ucation.On one hand,the infusion of humanistic attributes can be realized by building a resource repository of interdisciplinary education with Chinese characteristics,creating a regionally interconnected interdisciplinary education ecosystem,and fostering collaboration among diverse stakeholders.On the other hand,shaping indi-viduals is accomplished by promoting the integration of the"Five Educations",innovating culturally-centered interdisciplinary teaching models,and cultivating educators with strong cultural grounding.These two aspects form a cohesive loop,driving the innovative development of interdisciplinary education.
