Influence of Types and Components of Iron Ore Power on Its Sintering Basic Characteristics
The basic characteristics of iron ore powder, such as assimilation performance, bonding phase strength, and liquid phase fluidity, are important foundations for realizing sintering optimization. Basic characteristic testing is conducted on various iron ore powders such as BX, YLJ, NFJ, etc. and two or more iron ore powders are mixed to expand the research. The main influencing factors of the basic performance of iron ore powder and the basic per-formance characteristics of three major ore types are analyzed. A complementary ore blending approach based on assimilation performance and liquid phase fluidity is proposed, which provides theoretical guidance for increasing the amount of defect ore with high cost-effectiveness, improving production quality and reducing ore blending costs.
