Study on the Factors Influencing the Horizontal Bearing Characteristics of Wedge Stiffened Composite Piles
In order to analyze the horizontal bearing characteristics of wedge-shaped stiff composite piles and the in-fluence of different pile body size parameters on their horizontal bearing capacity,a three-dimensional finite ele-ment analysis model was established using numerical simulation to compare and analyze the effects of wedge angle,average section core ratio,and core length ratio on the horizontal bearing characteristics of wedge-shaped stiff com-posite piles.The results showed that in the linear elastic stage,the horizontal bearing capacity of wedge-shaped stiff composite piles with a 1° wedge angle under the same volume was significantly better than that of ordinary stiff composite piles.Increasing the wedge angle of the pile body can effectively reduce the displacement of the pile body.Increasing the wedge angle has the greatest impact on improving the horizontal bearing capacity,followed by increasing the average section core ratio,and increasing the core length ratio of the composite pile has almost the least effect.
