Effective Production Coefficient of Anisotropic Reservoir Considering Starting Pressure Gradient
The effective production coefficient is a crucial indicator for measuring the degree of reservoir production.Current research is based on the assumption of isotropic reservoirs, but in reality, fluid flow in reservoirs is aniso-tropic.This study simulates the streamline shapes of five-point well patterns under different degrees of anisotropy, taking into account the starting pressure gradient in low-permeability reservoirs. From this,a formula for calculat-ing the effective producing coefficient of anisotropic reservoirs is derived. The accuracy of the formula is further ver-ified through a simplified calculation model for isotropic reservoirs. The derived formula has been applied in field tests, which can further determine the reasonable injection-production well space for low-permeability reservoirs under different injection-production pressure differences and achieve good development results.
