The Influence of Horizontal Wells on Waterdrive Development Characteristics Through 3D Model Simulation
In the high water content period of L oilfield, horizontal wells are deployed to tap remaining oil,and the combined well pattern of horizontal well and directional well is formed. With the increasing number of horizontal wells implemented, the water content of L oilfield rose rapidly, seriously affecting its development effect. For this reason,a large number of monitoring electrodes and pressure measuring points are deployed at different positions of the model and the impact of horizontal well deployment on waterflooding development characteristics is explored through rock-electric experiments. The experimental results show that the thick horizontal well can effectively im-prove oil recovery efficiency. When the water content is predicted to be 98%,the lower layer of the experimental model has the highest oil displacement efficiency, but the improvement of oil displacement efficiency is less than that of the upper and middle layers of the model. After the horizontal well is opened, the internal pressure of the model is released, and then gradually rises until the waterflooding front reaches the production end.The internal pressure of the model drops significantly after that, and the pressure change trend at the pressure measurement point position is basically consistent.
