Hybrid precoding in wideband terahertz large-scale MIMO systems
To solve the problem of beam splitting caused by increased bandwidth and antenna number in broadband tera-hertz large-scale multiple input multiple output(MIMO)communication system, this paper constructs a novel hybrid pre-coding communication model integrating time delay. This model addresses the hardware constraints related to time delay val-ues and introduces an efficient joint optimization algorithm for broadband terahertz hybrid precoding, considering both ana-log and digital precoding matrices. The optimization process involves minimizing the difference between optimal and equiva-lent analog precoding matrices, converting the joint optimization problem into a target optimization task. This transformation enables the resolution of the global optimal solution by converting the non-convex problem into an equivalent convex one.Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm achieves near-optimal achievable rate performance and enhances energy efficiency in broadband terahertz MIMO systems.
