面向5G应用的双频段1/4模基片集成波导天线

为以小尺寸实现 5G热点频带的双频双宽带覆盖,提出了一种小平面尺寸、低剖面的 5G双频段覆盖天线.基于基片集成波导(substrate integrated waveguide,SIW)技术构建了具有小型化优势的 1/4 模基片集成波导(quar-ter-mode substrate integrated waveguide,QMSIW)天线,可以在 2 个目标频段附近产生 4 种模式(TM22、TM33、TM44、TM55),通过调谐金属通孔,可以调控模式频率使每个目标频段内有 2 种工作模式;引入扁U形金属枝节加载结构,可在N79(4.4~5.0 GHz)频段内增加一种新的模式(金属枝节的全波长模式),从而进一步拓展该频段的阻抗带宽.仿真结果表明,天线在 3 维尺寸 35 mm×35 mm×2 mm条件下实现了N78(3.4~3.6 GHz)和N79 的双频段覆盖.
Dual-band quarter-mode substrate integrated waveguide antenna for 5G applications
In order to achieve dual-broadband coverage in 5G hotspot bands in a small size,a 5G dual-band coverage an-tenna with small-plane size and low profile was proposed.Based on the substrate integrated waveguide(SIW)technology,a quarter-mode substrate integrated waveguide antenna with the advantage of miniaturization is constructed,which can gener-ate four modes(TM22,TM33,TM44,TM55)near two target frequency bands.The mode frequency can be adjusted so that there are 2 working modes in each target band.The introduction of a flat U-shaped metal segment loading structure can add a new mode(all-wavelength mode of metal branches)in the N79 band,thereby further extending the impedance band-width of this band.Simulation results show that the antenna achieves dual-band coverage of N78(3.4~3.6 GHz)and N79(4.4~5.0 GHz)under the conditions of 35 mm×35 mm×2 mm.
