Local annals is comprehensive historical records of a region,known as the encyclopedia of locals. With the development of public cultural services,Local annals has transitioned gradually from written records into a new era of museum records. The Local Chronicles Museum is an open book. We should hold the spirit of the times to continuously activate the essence in it and deepen the functions of the local Chronicles Museum for storing history,assisting administration and educating. On the basis of continuously consolidating the collections,we should highlight the distinctive characteristics,carry out digital construction,and firmly "revolve around the center,serve the overall situation" to promote the main theme with cohesion and fully leverage the function of educating. This is the new public cultural service mission of the Local Chronicles Museum in the new era.
