A Study on the Digital Embodied Interaction Design of Xiangjiang Ancient Town Group Based on Cultural Gene Mapping
With the acceleration of urbanization and the changes in modern lifestyles, many ancient towns face issues of cultural heritage loss and inadequate protection. How to preserve and pass on these valuable cultural resources with the support of modern technology has become an urgent problem to address.Combined with embodied cognition theory, this study constructs a cultural gene mapping of the Xiangjiang ancient town group and designs a digital embodied interaction model.Based on the case study of the virtual reality interaction design project Xiangxiang Tour, the proposed design model is validated, which not only opens up new paths for the protection and inheritance of cultural heritage in the Xiangjiang ancient town group but also provides a reference for the digital preservation and presentation of other cultural heritage sites.
