Construction of the Discourse System for International Communication of Lei Feng Spirit:a Corpus Perspective
Lei Feng spirit is a vibrant embodiment of the core socialist values.Enhancing the international dissemination of Lei Feng spirit is strategically significant to holistically telling China's story in a multi-dimensional way and spreading Chinese spirit and Chinese ideas.Researches and analyses indicate that Lei Feng spirit draws low international attention,is often subject to more negative assessments and less recognition on the global stage of public opinion,and its propagation via new media is relatively weak,lacking adequate grassroots narratives.To construct a discourse system for the international dissemination of Lei Feng spirit,it is essential to focus on the following points:first,to effectively manage the three sets of dynamics in the international communication process,namely inevitability versus contingency,theoretical versus practical,and incremental versus radical;second,to enhance the global narrative that embeds worldly compassion and humanitarian concern within Lei Feng spirit;third,to accelerate to form a communication pattern with"new media communication(primary)+traditional media communication(supplementary)";fourth,to make efforts to construct a discourse mode with"grassroots discourse(primary)+official discourse(supplementary)".
