Geological characteristics and genesis of polymetallic mineralization zone in Zhebei Farm-Lianhetunpu area of Jarud Banner, Inner Mongolia
The polymetallic mineralization zone in Zhebei farm-Lianhetunpu is located in the northwest of Zalut Banner, Inner Mongolia. It lies in the northern epicontinental accretionary zone of north China plate and has excellent mineralization geological conditions. Through geological, geophysical and geochemical surveys and trenching and drilling verification, it is concluded that the mineralized points in the area are mainly deposited in the alteration zone of the upper Jurassic Manketouebo Formation and the middle Permian Zhesi Formation, among which the acid volcanic rocks of the Upper Jurassic Manketouebo Formation are the main metallogenic stratum. The genesis is of the hydrothermal filling deposit. Magmatism is the dominant factor, and tectonics provides space and channels for mineralization. As prospecting marks, limonitization, silicification, epidotization and malachitiza-tion are critical for later prospecting.
