Development characteristics and influencing factors of slope geological disasters in Guangzhou City
There are many hills and mountains in Guangzhou,and so frequent slope type geological disasters are widely distrib-uted,causing serious restriction on economic development and urban-rural construction.Based on years of field investigations and systematic analyses,this paper studies the development characteristics and causes of slope type geological disasters in Guang-zhou.The results indicate that geological environmental conditions such as topography,lithology,and structure are inherent fac-tors that lead to frequent disasters.Precipitation is the direct factor that causes disasters,while human engineering activities such as manual slope cutting are the main triggering factors.Combination of these multiple factors forms a complex geological disaster prone environment,resulting in different development and spatiotemporal distribution of slope type geological disasters.
