Application of integrated geophysical prospecting methods in investigation of metro tunnel mountain-crossing sections
With the development of urban rail transit, the survey of urban mountain tunnels has become one of the hot topics in geotechnical engineering survey. This paper takes the survey of the mountain crossing section of Nansha to Zhuhai intercity sub-way project as an example.Three methods are selected for comprehensive detection including microtremor survey method,high-density electrical method, and soil radon measurement method. The rock soil interface in the area is divided and the locations and impact ranges of two hidden faults are inferred with good detection results. The research indicates that the microtremor survey method can obtain high-quality data in mountainous areas with minimal interference, and is effective in dividing rock soil inter-faces and inferring faults. The high-density electrical method is more sensitive to fracture zones, but less ideal for classifying geo-logical structures. The soil radon concentration measurement can roughly delineate the location of faults, but cannot determine the fault tendency and depth of influence.
