摘要
城市科学具有横跨自然科学与社会科学的特征.以研究城市这一复杂性对象为目标,聚焦于城市化进程中人居环境改善的前沿领域,研究涉及历史人文城市、智慧城市、低碳城市、健康城市、韧性城市、海绵城市、生态城市、宜居城市、城市更新和新城市科学等学术概念,呈现出多学科交叉融合的新兴学科群特征.城市作为人类与众多其他有机系统共生的复杂适应系统(CAS),具有该系统的一般特征,运用复杂适应系统理论研究城市科学成为这一新历史阶段的必然.
Abstract
As interdisciplinary subject connected with both natural and social sciences,urban science focuses on multiple areas such as historical and cultural cities,smart cities,low-carbon cities,healthy cities,resilient cities,sponge cities,eco-cities,livable cities,urban renewal,and new urban science with the economic,social,and environmental sustainable development as the goal of cities.Also as component of science and technology,urban science has been researched with the goal of the well-being of all mankind,which focuses on important and difficult issues in the progress of urbanization.Complex adaptive systems emphasize on agent's adaptive ability which is main difference compared with traditional complex system.Cities as multi-agent system,is complex adaptive system exhibiting various properties:adaption,interconnectivity,scaling and so on.It is necessary to use the theory of complex adaptive system to study urban science in urbanization process.
