This paper explores the practices and challenges of county-level public transport companies in cost regulation,analyzes the impact of cost regulation on enhancing the quality and efficiency of public transport services,and identifies the problems in the actual operation of cost regulation through an in-depth review of existing cost regulation policies and a field survey of the operation of county-level public transport companies.Based on the empirical research findings,this paper proposes strategies and suggestions for optimizing cost regulation.
