Research on the Content, Models and Strategies of Low Carbon Cities
This paper focuses on the research of low carbon cities both at home and overseas, and introduces of the content of low carbon cities. The authors set up models and evaluation criteria, seek problems in urban development process, and make quantitative analysis of carbon emission. In the end, the target, such as total and subunit, renewable energy and carbon sink is drew up in order to make strategies of low carbon development in the future, which contains developing public and service-oriented consumption, circulated production mode and compact urban space to reduce carbon emission.
