Transformative Circumstances and Govemment-Led Urbanization
In this thesis, the Government's active intervention serves as an entry point. The author analyzes the basic characteristics of urbanization in different pe riods in China and reviews the principles underlying the government-led urbaniza tion processes. The thesis discusses the government's responsibilities in urbaniza tion. In sum, the paper argues that innovation and transcendence in governance is the crux of China's urban transformation.
