Development Strategy in Provincial Territorial Spatial Planning:A Case Study of the Zhengzhou Metropolitan Region
In the context of promoting high-quality development, metropolitan regions have emerged as crucial spatial units for achieving new urbanization and regional in-tegration goals.Currently, there exists scant comprehensive research that cognizes and measures spatial synergy across various developmental stages of metropolitan re-gions.This paper introduces a framework for studying the coordinated development of metropolitan regions, focusing on four spatial elements:"ecology","industry","transportation",and"public services".The approach follows a process of"trend identification—element assessment—characteristic analysis".An empirical study is con-ducted on Zhengzhou Metropolitan Region. It constructs a methodological system that incorporates dynamic evaluation,data-driven support, and spatial synergy ele-ment representation, providing a foundation for optimizing spatial resources and ad-vancing research on coordinated regional development.
