Analysis of Gear Fracture of Fuel Pump in Transmission Box of a Certain Engine
In order to analyze and study the intermittent failure of fuel pump gear in a certain type of turbine engine accessory drive mechanism during flight,the article uses various physical and chemical analysis methods such as hardness analysis and metallographic testing,supplemented by ANSYS software to simulate the stress and vibration of the fuel pump gear working state.Combined with the mechanism analysis of the gear transmission working state of the accessory transmission device,the failure analysis and detection results are further verified to identify the root cause of the occasional fracture fault of the fuel pump gear and quickly locate the abnormal factors.In addition,a census of sample results is conducted for engines operating in different environments,both on the field and in the factory,to verify the effectiveness of the implemented measures.
